We combined two of our favorite fragrances in this soap. The heady scent of the gardenia infused with the mellow and sweetness of the vanilla. Oh la la, we love it. We added real vanilla bean to deepen the aroma and give gentle exfoliation. Gardenias are waxy, white and very fragrant flowers. They are extremely popular. They are heady and very romantic. Vanilla is native to Central America. It is a perennial herbaceous climbing vine with white flowers. The green capsules or fruit is ready to pick after eight or so months. The pod needs to be cured by drying and fermentation to develop the fragrance and flavor, it takes about six months. The aroma is rich, mellow and long lasting, with sweet and balsamic notes. It has calming and balancing properties.
