Sandlewood essential oil comes from mature sandalwood trees that are over 50 years old. The essential oil is extracted through steam distillation of the wood from the trees. The sandalwood tree grows mostly India and Australia. The essential oil can sooth skin and has a mild astringent property. It has a sweet-woody warm aroma. Vetiver is a grass , it has a rich woody, earthy and sweet scent, it has grounding properties.
