Plumeria, also known as frangipani are native to several Pacific islands, such as Tahiti, Fiji, Samoa and Hawaii. Plumeria is used for making leis. In Polynesian culture the women wear them behind their ears to signal their marital status. Worn on the right ear if they are single and worn on the left ear if they are married. Tiare Flowers are a part of the Gardenia family. They have a heady and romantic fragrance.
